Which Westside videos?

If I was going to order a Westside video package from EliteFTS, should I go with the "Westside Seminar Video Package" or the "Westside Package"?

I figure Christmas is coming up so I might as well ask for these for Christmas!

"Westside Package"

This is what I have... You'll get 3 BP videos, 3 squatting videos, and 1 DLing video.

In the BP videos you'll see taped workouts of westside speed days, and max days -- and then louie goes over how to do a lot of exercises you may not know about. Also, "Don't do that Marvin."

In the squat videos, you'll see box squatting on the first tape I think, and then ME work on the second video. You'll see several different possibilites for ME exercises performed, and you'll also see all the assistance work. Throughout all the squat videos, there are good tips on form, lots of helpful little pointers.

The DLing video isn't very good IMO. It starts with a half hour speech by Louie about good DLers from his gym, and then goes on to show you a bunch of ME Squat exercises that will help your DL that you already saw on the squat tapes.

These were pretty valuable to me as I basically have been learning WSB on my own and needed to see everything with proper form. There are lots of available training websites with videos online now that weren't there a couple years ago -- so you could find the proper form for a lot of the exercises. It is really motivational however, to see it from Louie himself.

As for the seminar package -- all I've heard is good things.... hopefully somebody can outline it for you so you can compare it to this.

Thanks for the explanation. I was wondering how the 2 compared. Now, can someone post a quick description of the seminar videos?

The Seminar Video is exactly like going to a Seminar. They show you pretty much everything. And then there is a hands on section where they go through and work on technique with all the people there. The only downside to the Seminar video is there isn't any Workout Footage from the WS Guys.

I have all the tapes so its hard for me to say which ones would be better.

Any opinion as to which would be better for someone who has been lifting for strength for a while, but is just starting Westside, training alone, and who has been doing a ton of reading?

To be honest....I used the Seminar Video for Information. The Workout Videos for Motivation. The Secrets Tapes are good....but outdated.

I would go with the Seminar Video overall. Maybe throw in the Reactive Video for more advanced stuff....and some other exercise demos.

Personally I have never seen the Seminar videos, but the other videos are all really good because you see the actual Westside guys working out. You see a lot of Kenny Patterson (Big KP) on the Bench videos and on the squat and Deadlift you'll see Chuck Vogephel and even Matt Dimmel amongst others.
