Which is worse? Milk or meat (beef in particular)

From a health perspective I don't think it is a question as to which form of protein is bad (protein is good), but the animal fat. Beef isn't bad if you can get a very lean select cut of meat and drain off as much animal fat as possible. Skim milk is good enough since the fat is also very minimal. It would come down to whether you are lactose intolerant or have another digestive problem. Beef is very slow to digest but it does give a slow release and absorption of protein too which can be good.

Depends on your general health already, cholesterol levels, etc... Oh, your goals will be a factor as well among other things.

I'm concerned about milk because of the IGF-1 and other growth factors that might be in it. And also, because it feels unnatural for humans (or any adults) to drink it?

With meat, I'm concerned about the arachidonic acid (long-chain polyunsaturated omega-6). And also, other things that make meat be widely regarded as unhealthy.

But saturated fat isn't that bad in comparsion to the other things in these foods, or is it? If so, why?

yup, the human digestive system is not designed to digest other animals' milks

I think the most widely publicized problem among people is the saturated fat, which has proven itself to be very beneficial at 10-20% of the diet

there are many things that can be wrong w/ beef and milk, such as growth hormone etc...(as you pointed out) but preventive measures are hard and near impossible to take...I would say out of the two, beef is better IMO.
