Okay, yeah the underlying question here is what is gonna get me laid quicker? j/k
I kinda met a new chica that wreaks of possibility, her shit talking skills hit as hard as a guatemalan welterweight left hook. She is also down with going inward green style. -though doesn't identify with that like it a virtue... hate when peeps do that- Anyway which gift will get her to think of me more? The choices are between my two symbolic accessories: Hoodie and Backpack. Both of our favorite colors are red, so yeah. Which one do you think will make her pine for my shit more? lol

I know, its ridiculous that I should even be moving this fast, but she gets me, ya know?
Plus, I wanted to send something that gives off that me vibe. She looks at it and feels like a connection coming off from that memento.
I love hoodies, and only wear them when I'm chilling. An Assortment of hoodies and trackjackets in the closet. Pretty one dimensional and lack an eclectic approach as I get older.
Backpack, Laptop, and me are inseparable. She teaches 6th grade and working on getting another degree, so she also does the backpack thing. I'm just assuming when she chills out and kicks it that during the winter she might throw on a hoodie or trackjacket and this would trigger a feeling of connection. LOL
I can't decide which is more me though... or sorta give her that me vibe that I wanna send. -I was just kidding about the gift as getting laid shit-
You rock out at these things which is better?
 
Blech, neither. I'm sorry, if I got either of those from a guy who was my age I would immediately think they were re-gifts. Those are not items that convey "I think you are an attractive young lady whom I would be interested in pursuing a romantic interest in," they are gifts that say "Dude, just remembered it was your birthday I grabbed you this at Target on the way home from work."

If you've had really great conversations with her, get her a really classy pen and nice journal or a really good book. If you think the romance is definitely mutual then a nice but not too expensive piece of jewelry, something silver set with semiprecious stones.

I'm a little partial though....I love hoodies.....prolly got 20 of them in the closet...and now that its gettin chilly at night, I'm gonna hafta bust em out.

Make it an oversized one so she can throw it over whatever she's wearing.

Hoodies are for homos. I use to work with this kid 10 years ago who only wore hoodies to work. One day I cracked open a valerian root capsule and sprinkled it in his hood, dude walked around smelling like shit the entire day. Spread a little in his locker too, I'm mean like that.

Get her a nice piece of jewelry, it doesn't have to be very expensive. Get her something elegant and small, it has more value. Anyhow, It's the thought that counts.

Ariel, you can spend $10 - $15 bucks and get something that is just more romantic. It isn't what the gift costs that matters to most women. It is what the gift IMPLIES ABOUT HOW YOU FEEL ABOUT HER. A lovely letter and a boquet of

Ariel, you can spend $10 - $15 bucks and get something that is just more romantic. It isn't what the gift costs that matters to most women. It is what the gift IMPLIES ABOUT HOW YOU FEEL ABOUT HER. A lovely letter and a boquet of her favorite flowers would be perfect and inexpensive.

Okay, I absolutely understand you have budgetary constraints, but I can't find either decent quality hoodies or backpacks for under $25. Most nice journals cost around $10 and the same for good pens. Hardback books are under $30 and you can find very nice small pieces of jewelery for the same price range. I was trying to make gift suggestions in the same price range and the hoodie or backpack.

Look, find a new agey kind of gift/bookstore. You'll be able to find many unique things for under $30 that are a LOT more thoughtful and convey a better (read, potentially romantic) message. I'm telling you, don't give generic/androgenous gifts to someone you hope to date, it just puts the wrong spin on things from the start. You'd do better either giving her nothing at all or a CD or DVD and a card, seriously.
