i like living in the sticks. . .however, i lived in pittsburgh for 12 years. . .i liked it but i don't miss it. . .cities that i've spent time in and really liked (besides pittsburgh)?

cleveland

columbus

nashville

i've spent time in lots of other ones but those were the most friendly, cleanest and coolest. . .of those, nashville wins hands down. . .

no wonder san diego and san fran are so freakin expensive. everyone wants to live there :)

I don't get how people can live in little, small lame cities. maybe it's because i see no challenges there. Even atlanta doesn't really feel like a city to me. If it's not NYC, miami, chicago, LA, boston and maybe a couple of other places in the US it doesn't really feel like a city to me.

That being said.....NYC for 6 months of the year(spring, summer)...and having a vacation house where its warm 6 months of the year. san diego...i can even still handle south florida in doses and still enjoy it.

nothing beats living in manhatten.....if you have a shitload of $$$$. Gotta clear a mil a year to live good in manhatten, and even then you're still considered a nobody and if you have kids you'll never get them into private school lol. Getting your pre-schooler into a decent private school is harder than a college kid getting into an ivy league school. no joke
what a city.

So far in all my travels I haven't seen any city in the US that would lure me away from Denver. I live up in the northwest end and love the location. Still not a really big city, but big enough to have everything you need.

Cheers,
