what are you looking for in a city? good jobs, safe, transit? as for best night life it isn't europe if you are a guy, I love asia.
I'm not looking for anything in particular. I like Chicago a lot. It has everything that I want (except I get sick of the cold weather at times).

I was just wondering everyone else's thoughts.

When I was in Greece it was 10X better than anything I've experienced here. I've also heard the same thing about Israel (from my brother). .

Yeah, I can imagine some places in Greece would be cool as are some places in the south of Spain and nearby islands. Again, tho language is a problem imo.

Israel isn't in Europe yo! I'd love to go there but I'd be wary of all the trouble etc.

I am not big into the nightlife/clubs. I really don't care for them actually. I am too busy with school, my family, b/f, fitness, work now, etc, to care about that. I'm entertained in other ways. :).

Each to their own, and while I do some of the stuff you mention I prefer to use my 20s to wil' out. You're only young once.

I heard vegas was better than NY as in the club life.

lol, yeah I've heard Vegas is cool, iono about better than NYc since I haven't been to the former. I'm planning a trip to Vegas tho.

I know Israel isn't in Europe. I'm just saying..

Also, yeah - I guess everyone wants to live "their young days," but I never really enjoyed the club atmosphere. I didn't like what I was around. Just me. :) So whatever makes you happy, do.

I'd live just outside Toronto. Health care, nice people, good international rep for when I travel. Not enough big architecture and culture.. for that I'd live in Europe to feel rooted to the past as a human being. Otherwise, the US seems like a pretty cookie-cutter type place... except for the accents, what's the difference?

There is a huge difference. Each state seems to have its own unique personality. You would think LA and NYC were in different countries.

large cities: Denver, San Diego, Boston, maybe one of the florida cities

Denver? Why? Its a giant ghetto! I was there about 7 months ago and I couldn't believe how dirty the place was. Not to mention the damn airport is a billion miles away from ANYTHING!

I don't remember Denver being like that. I think it depends where in the city you are. Every city is going to have its downfalls. I liked Denver for the most part. And the mountains are right over there, too.
