Which City Would You...

If you could choose a city to live in (IN the U.S.), which one would you choose? If you could move anywhere without any problems, which city would you like to live in? Just curious. :)

I'm not sure where I would want to live. I like Chicago (minus the weather half the year)... But I'm open to other experiences, too.

Austin again or San Diego.
San Diego for sure. I live really close to Chicago and could do without the weather. Especially when I have to drive home from work in a blizzard down the Dan Ryan.

Oh yes it does suck. But there are ups and downs with every city. Chicago has the most beautiful architecture and during the Spring and summer it's so fun at the lake and just around the city in general. I love that part of it. Plus I love four seasons (although I wouldn't mind if winter was a bit shorter).

Snow doesn't bother me. :) But yes, the driving SUCKS. Edens, Kennedy, Dan Ryan - all those.

I like driving around and seeing some of the skyscrapers I worked on. Like the at&t building, soldier field, and the hyatt center on wacker 2 blocks north of the sears tower. I also helped build a lot of schools outside downtown.

That is awesome. :) Soldier Field is beautiful. I love all the old buildings. Especially in the loop, if you look at them and near the top, they have such great artwork.

I'd have to visit more cities to know which one I'd prefer to live in. It's different visiting a city and loving it verses actually residing there.

What's one city (or a few) that you would NEVER live in?

New York: just seems too crowded and I like having a car

Anywhere in Texas: Get's too hot and my job doesn't pay enough down there with all the Texicans

L.A.: I stayed there for a week and it was really dirty and have tons of bums capmed out everywhere. South of there is really nice though.

Yeah L.A. is DEFINITELY one city I would never live in. I didn't like it at all. I don't think I'd live in NY either.

I have visited Denver before and really liked it but I was younger then so who knows...

I went to see a friend in denver a few years ago after I broke my collarbone. It was beautiful out there and all the people were nice. We aslo seen Primus at the Red Rock theatre. It was the best venue I've ever went to for a concert. I'd definately live there. We also went to Vail which was nice. Its like a pedestrian town. And we also hit up Breckenridge. I may go there again later this year when I can actually go snowboarding instead of going in the middle of June all banged up.

large cities: Denver, San Diego, Boston, maybe one of the florida cities

smaller cities: Austin for sure, Raleigh, NC, Bozeman MT
