Heya all I've just gotten back to college and I've decided to give the 5x5 workout a go. I've been reading up on Madcow's site and in stickies and I've been thinking i should do the intermediate version.
I trained pretty consistently from the ages of 14-17 doing a 4 day split that incorporated most compound lifts (Bench Press, Squat, and Deadlift). From the ages of 18-19 though I worked out fairly rarely. This past summer I started working out consistently again and got a lot of my strength back.
Current Stats
Age: 20
Height:5'8"
Weight:152
1-Rep Maxes
Bench Press: 215
Squat: 270
Deadlift: 320
Rows: ? (Estimated 5-rep max of 125)
Military Press: ? (Estimated 5-rep max of 135)
I haven't really done Squats, Rows, or Military Press with the best of technique when I've trained before so it may take me a little while to get my technique in those lifts up to snuff.
Does the intermediate program sound right based off this information or would you recommend one of the other two?
