I feel so disconnected from the me in high school and college even. i feel like it was such a long time ago, that it's almost like a different lifetime or a different person altogether. I dont identify with the me of yesteryear at all, except that I have (almost) all of the memories.
Man, that's me to a T. I'm so disconnected from most everything now I dont even know what to do with myself. On the flip side maybe I'll come out of this funk with a better self image and more self esteem.
A degree is never a bad investment as no one can ever rob you of knowledge. I do agree, however, that I have met more than a few morons who were in possession of a degree. I've also met many peeps that have gone on to make millions never having set foot inside a learning insitution higher than high school. Those peeps were obviously exceptional.
i wasted 4 years of my life on a degree that i'll never use.
Dont ever go to college just for the sake of going to college, lol. thats what i've learned. go with a purpose!
