Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeew....

Alright,....as a few of you know, I have decided to "lean-up" a bit in preparation for a fitness test in about 2 months.

Yesterday I started 2X/day cardio (40min first thing in the morning on empty stomach, and another 30-40min in the evening)

I'm also mixing it up in the gym, (yesterday I supersetted Back/Tri's with only a "Water-break" in between sets of 50 reps)

By the time my workout was done, I could barely think straight.

Then I grabbed a RTD to drink during my cool-down and (for the first time in my life) I couldn't keep any of it down..................

It's almost time for Cardio again........................

I guess I better get used to it............

good job and keep it up, you'll crush on that fitness test. I've been doing heavy cardio all week myself and I hate it. Plus i lost my bottle of cardio breeze, WHY IS THE WORLD SOOO CRUEL :worried:

I have some of that on the way............

In the mean time - the EQ continues to simply AMAZE me............

For the first time in YEARS my limbs go to failure before my "wind" ever becomes a factor.

i'm running EQ myself but cardio breeze gives me an extra lil bump when getting ready for that early morning empty stomach cardio. And you cardio twice a day, MOTIVATED. Does cardio twice a day effect your strength ACreed?

I'm sure it does, but I am willing to sacrifice some muscle to get back into great cardio/aerobic shape.

Plus, I am focusing on higher and higher reps to try and draw different muscle fibers into play - (Slow Twitch)

"The slow muscles contain more mitochondria and myoglobin which make them more efficient at using oxygen to generate more fuel (ATP) for continuous, extended muscle contractions over a long time. In this way slow twitch fibers are great at helping athletes run marathons and bicycle for hours."
