She won't be contributing anything. However we pay our bills together as one, so we combine both our salaries together. I will need to take out a loan to start this business up which would mean initially at least for the first 2/3 years we'll be paying that loan from both of our incomes, so I guess she is contributing to something

Just because she won't be involved in the day to day workings of the business does NOT mean that she isn't contributing. You are doing it for the two of you and your child I assume. Would you be able to do it without her support?

I walked away from my first marriage (13 years and four children and yes, I was there from the beginning of OUR business ran our household, cared for our children and did as much of the administrative work as possible) with 5K, gave up all claim to alimoney AND all claim to OUR business.

I just wanted him to leave me alone.

Yup, totally stress free - a great celebration on my favorite holiday. Honestly, I dont think I could have done it any other way.

Too many people are more concerned with the wedding than they are the marriage and one of the reasons, why I believe that many marriages go south long before the wedding is even paid off.
