hey nuc, tell her that its normal to loose a lot right away and that it always slows down. thats why so many obese people cant stick with a diet that works. they get all excited about the huge gains they're making, then when their body adapts to the training the weight loss slows way down and they get really frusterated and quit. i wish i could remember exactly why this happens, but I do know it does. We talked about it in my human nutrition and obesity classes. just tell her to keep working hard and e3ating good and everything will work out fine.
