Whatcha think? The little lady's been workin' out with me.

hey nuc, tell her that its normal to loose a lot right away and that it always slows down. thats why so many obese people cant stick with a diet that works. they get all excited about the huge gains they're making, then when their body adapts to the training the weight loss slows way down and they get really frusterated and quit. i wish i could remember exactly why this happens, but I do know it does. We talked about it in my human nutrition and obesity classes. just tell her to keep working hard and e3ating good and everything will work out fine.

if anyone out there knows what im talking about please confirm what im telling nuc.

5'11 is nice I know a girl that is 5'11 she is attractive and I think her hieght attracts me even more, but I can still call her mini girl.. I tower over any girl I've ever seen :p
 
Looks good..... she has a great base to build on. Her lower body/butt look like once she adds more muscle she'll have a great shape. She needs to stop worrying about the scale and focus on what she sees in the mirror. Muscle weighs much more than fat, but it also takes up A LOT less room. Tell her to focus on BF% numbers, not scale numbers.

Hit the calves harder - they need more shape. Her hamstrings also need a little more shape. Don't overdo the cardio - too much cardio will inhibit her muscle gain, which in turn will inhibit her metabolism. Instead of adding more days of cardio, increase the intnesity or have her do a day of HIIT.

But you know, she just started...I think she looks awesome. If she sticks to HEAVY weight training, some cardio (Try HIIT!) and dieting clean, she'll be even more rockin' in no time. :)
 
I'm sorry. I'm used to before & after pics. It looked like the first pic on the page had loaded, but a 2nd one didn't, or was taking too long to load. That's a damn-fine backside...can't begin to imagine it if she keeps up the work.

Thanks Daisy! I have been working out hard, but my legs are just now starting to show some definition. My arms show a little more. Like my hubby (Nucman) said, I've been increasing my lifting weight about once a week. I'm at a stand still right now. I do need to get my butt on the treadmill more often. It's soooo boring though, but I got to do it! The toughest part to get flat and firm is my tummy! What do you do to get it flat? I'm doing my crunches...just need to up my cardio I think.
