What Ways Do You Like to Interfere With Cops Busting Motorist?

Of course, I do the headlight warning thing every chance I get. But the knew one I did over the holidays was the best one yet and my wife thought I was crazy.

The pigs were hidden under the u turn thing under the freeway and writing tickets left and right for people not wearing their seatbelts so I drove around to the other side of the feeder and got out of my car and walked to the curb on the feeder(right before people got to the pig(i call them pigs because thats what pigs do cops bust bad people see the difference)). Then when cars came I would mimic putting on the seatbelt and then point to the u turn. People were giving the thumbs up and smiles like crazy.

I can't believe the nerve of those pigs writing tickets for stupid selt belt violations over the holiday season when that law should have never been passed in the first place.

They should have been patroling parking lots making sure people were stealing presents out of cars but that would be to smart of a thing for a pig to do.

Actually I have sort of a fantasy that I act out in my head whenever I see cops trying to nail people in a speed trap.

I read somewhere that it is illegal for a cop to be parked on private property unless he has the owner's permission... so, let's assume I lived on the corner of a busy street and a cop was parked on my yard and just nailed somebody doing 70 in a 40mph zone.

Then I'd come out of my house yelling: "HEY ASSHOLE... GET THE FUCK OFF OF MY PROPERTY!"

Then the cop would be like: "Don't worry sir... he'll be gone just after I finish writing him this ticket."

Me: "I DON'T MIND HIM ON MY PROPERTY. I WAS TALKING TO YOU. GET THE FUCK OFF!"

Cop: "Uhmmm..."

Me: "YOU HEARD ME. BEAT IT. GET OFF BEFORE I CALL THE REAL POLICE!!!!"

Cop: *leaves*

Driver: "Thanks Warik! The city is much safer with a man like you owning property on the corner of a busy street!"

Me: *flex*

About two months ago, I'm riding down this street when i see a kid, about 15 years old, come roller blading down the hill toward me. He had a sign that said, "slow down, cops ahead." Sure enough, there were two bike cops and a police car set up in a nice little speed trap.

Cool kid.

I had something very smart and stinging to post in the cop's defense, but I won't.

Well go for it. But just remember one day you will be on the receiving end of getting it( oh yea I forgot you like that) :D

I'll say here what I wrote in another thread. Alot of really bad criminals are caught because they're pulled over for stupid shit like busted taillights and expired tags. Like it or not, it's part of law enforcement.

It's fun derailing cops' silly efforts to trap motorists.

The cops can't complain about what you did because you were getting people to put on their belts, which is ultimately what the cops want too. If they argue otherwise they expose themselves as hypocrites.

Here's to cop stymieing!

I have done the sign routine before...A guy I knew back in highschool was arrested for doing this...His town was anexed by the City of houston and it was his little way of protesting since the people had no choice in the matter

they actually charged him with disturbing the peace....Go figure

Very good points. But they could bust the bad people the same way and let the regular people off with warnings too.

Yeah but the money they make from those tickets keeps your taxes lower. Property taxes are high enough and if you wear your seatbelt and drive normal you shouldnt have anything to worry about anyway.

That said....the surrounding towns around me are known for their assholish cops. They will follow you and pull you over for anything...including being the wrong skin color. Of course what ever they do must work because as opposed to towns with lax police officers, these hard ass cop towns have the lowest crime rates compared to the towns next to them which are considered distressed areas.

Yep. DWB is a ticketable offense in this country.

DWB= Driving While Black

One word for the above posts as an FYI

OBSTRUCTION

I feel fairly confident that in most jurisdictions if the law choose to, they could haul you in for it.

Whenever I see a cop standing beside someone's car writing a ticket I drive by in the lane next to the cop as close to the edge of the road as possible. I hope it scares them enough that they'll stop pulling people over for petty things.

the best is getting a ticket for rear-ending someone when they fucking pull a dead stop right in front of you for no reason at all...or getting a ticket after not being killed in a car crash because you weren't wearing a seatbelt where you would have been killed if you had been.....

outran a jersey state cop once on a highway...that was pretty cool...i got off at an exit ramp...watched him speed by....then he must've saw me, because he turned and got off at the same exit...so i just got back on again...and i was gone....

i wanna get that thing that screws up radar guns...forget what it's called....anyone have one? they are supposed to be the shit.

We have a radar detector,my grandpa and father were both truck drivers so they are very effective and valuable, they go for about 200 up here, but its worth it

LOL.. I should search EF and bump a few posts about the kids
on here bitching about their High Car Insurance rates...

FORT LAUDERDALE, Florida (CNN) -- Five victims of an SUV crash are recovering in Florida ... A 14-year-old boy who was riding in the cargo area of the SUV was transferred to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood, Florida, where he was in critical condition Thursday.

I bet the parents of this 14 year old boy wish they were stopped by those stupid 'pigs' before they ventured onto the highway.

Yes I agree with your warning message but some people don't listen to those warning and just go about their business.

This is against the law and certainly not advisable.

And In the State of FL, if an Officer is pulled over, you are required
to either:
Change lanes to the other lane they are pulled over in
Or
Lower your speed dramatically before passing them..

Law is the same here. I can't imagine anyone wanting to intentionally get as close as possible. One small slip and you are in jail for a long time.

What's the point in issuing tickets to someone that isn't wearing their seat belt. I wear my seatbelt because it increases my odds of surviving a crash, not because I'm afraid of a ticket. I would imagine that people who don't care enough to buckle their seat belt for their own safety probably don't give a rat's ass about getting a damn ticket. Cops and politicians only write and enforce these laws for revenue raising purposes. Part of the problem with law enforcement in this country is that we use cops to make money. However, the types of issues that raise revenue don't have any affect on serious crimes.

I think a person should have the right to fly through their windshield if they wish.

Three words.

1. Obstruction
2. of
3. Justice

I don't agree with the tactics of the local P.D, but they have a job to do and orders to follow.

No doubt I mean they use kill babies and call it abortions who cares about a few dead motorist?

You seem to be in a moral conundrum.

On one hand you say that taking away the choice to put on a seatbelt is wrong. Then on the other hand, you are against the choice of having an abortion.

Some would call that being hypocritical.

Do you know how many people who aren't "good people" who get caught by being pulled over for a traffic violation? How many convicts, drug trafficers, and people with warrants out for their arrest get caught because even though they are wanted for child abuse, they still speed?

Where I live, a guy who was pulled over for failing to signal (one of those really stupid things they shouldn't pay attention to), and they could smell alcohol on him, so they searched his car and found what? The bodies of his two children. Yep. He killed them both, and put them in the trunk. Their mother too. He just left her in the garage.

Why'd the man pull over? God only knows. But hey... those stupid pigs had no right, huh?

I guess it should just be said that cops should be psychic and magically know where all the criminals are hiding.

Then they wouldn't be such a pain in the ass to all those "good people" who are just speeding. Jeez... cops are such assholes. You can bet your ass I'll never call one to my house if a guy with a shotgun is in there trying to kidnap my children. That same "pig" is out writing tickets... so he's just a shithole.

OKAY THERE ARE A WHOLE BUNCH OF FAGGOT PUSSIE ASSFACE TURD BRAINS ON THIS THREAD SO I WILL TRY AND ADDRESS SOME OF THEM.

I can't see someone getting arrested for setting up a pro-seatbelt demonstration. It might be illegal to stand on the side of the highway, but otherwise I'd like to hear a lawyer (NOT A PIG) on this one.

Failing to secure a CHILD is entiely different from an ADULT not wearing a seatbelt. One is a victimless crime, the other is a crime of negligence. You are comparing the incomparable...

Stop blaming the officers.

The Officers are TOLD and REQUIRED to go out and give tickets. Trust me, most WISH they could do other things, but when they have police chiefs, governors, mayors, congressmen and other head honchos calling the shots, wanting REVENUE, and instilling hidden quotas otherwise you'll be "transferred" -- they have no choice.

ummm HELLO Sir SmokesCockALot! Of course all the redneck pigs would rather be involved in high-speed pursuits and gun fights. That is irrelevant. Being a cop is not manadatory, therefore it is their decision to be PIGs and do what PIGs do.

Also, the fact that they do not want do be doing it contributes to their shitty attitudes and need to bully people. They thought they were going to get to be john wayne, instead they get petty tasks.

the same point as the war on drugs, legislators are twits.

okay this is super duper gay.

Less cops pulling people over = less taxes paying for cops, cruisers, traffic court, etc. Sure, less revenue in tickets, but financial factors negate.

and, since when are the police a for-profit group?

Also, the second half of your statement wreaks. I guess the bill of rights does not mean shit unless you are a criminal, huh? Why would anyone give a shit about search and seizure unless they are hiding something? Fuck right to counsel, only criminals need lawyers, too, and they are all guilty so fuck them.

quit being a fuckwit.

There's too much to cover here.

1. You can do what you want. Obstruction of justice would be to interferre with a cop doing his job. Warning people of a speed trap or seatbelt enforcement thing does not qualify as the claim of the PD is that they do it to encourage people to slow down/wear seatbelts. An example of what's wrong is to muck up a cop who is currently trying to issue a ticket.

2. This does not mean you can't be charged with Obstruction or some other offense.

3. This does not mean you don't have a defense to #2, but you'd better have money and a damn good lawyer because the DA and most judges are on the PD's side.

So, it's not illegal, but having rights and getting them upheld are two entirely different things.

Sounds like he would've been caught pretty soon anyway. So they caught him a few hours before he would've been. Big deal.

I see you've missed the point of my post entirely.

That example was just that... an example. The man did say he was off to dump the bodies and head out of state... so who knows when he would have been caught.

You must never watch COPS or any other reality police show like that... with how many people they pull over that have warrants.

I'll dig up some facts for you and let you know how many criminals, escaped convicts, drug trafficers and all of that are caught by traffic stops.

I know to someone who's been pulled over for speeding, seatbelts, failing to signal, dui, reckless driving, tailgaiting, or something "stupid" like that, cops are just a bunch of useless shitheads... but MAN would I love to see all you people without 'em.

I'm not saying all laws make sense... but good lord... of all the things in life to bitch about...

I would like to see half the people who talk shit about cops last a month without being fired, from not doing anything or beating the piss out of some of these pricks who give cops a hard time

they have a job to do and most do it well, bad apples everywhere but not everyone can do this job
