What was YOUR worst haircut?

Mine was a bowl cut and the muschroom haircut. Not recent, lol
I also had really short hair with a part cut in with a buzzer.
 
I shave my head myself every month or so. Worst haircut is at the end of that month where there are long hairs on my neck and it's covering the top part of my ears.

Also when I have a mustache with a shaved head, that's not a good look...for anyone. But sometimes I don't shave the 'stache until the day after I buzz my head.
 
had a sweet mullet back in the 80's when I was like 5-6. wanted to go poison/ GNR style.. then the 90's came with the grunge, so the mushroom and mop was in style.. man that was bad. but rocked at the same time!

Worst one thought when my bro cut my hair and looked like I had a ramp in the back of my head, lol

Oh man that reminds me that in grades 6-8 I had a tail. I don't know why fuckers called it a "rat tail" it was a tail!

I was so proud once it got long enough to put in my mouth. That was the pinnacle, man.

Once it got that long I dipped it in peroxide so it was a blonde tail (I have dark brown hair)

It was big enough that for one school pic I split it in two and brought half over each shoulder so it looked like I had a mullet. I thought it was so cool that it was versatile like that.

I think I finally shaved it off when I switched from being an 80s heavy metal skater to being a 90s surfer skater and went for the one-eyed surfer look, which was AWESOME.
 
That's how I had the idea for this thread. I was talking to someone at work about rat tails and he said he had one as a kid. He looked real ashamed.
I told him to bring in a picture, lol. He didn't think it was funny.

At what age did you start greasing interstate on ramps?
 
oh man. a few years ago i decided to go from shaved head to long hair. and we all know that meant there would be at least one "awkward hair length" phase during that process (possibly 2). I have very thick and stubborn hair that can only be styled a few ways. Anyway, I had a very awkward stage where my hair was just getting long enough to be styled but not long enough to do anything interesting with it. I attempted to rock the caesar, but I literally looked like Lloyd from Dumb and Dumber. Of course, we had a big event at the time and there is a very horrific picture of me with a client that a certain girl at work sends to the entire company every single goddamn chance she has.

It haunts me.
 
one eyed skater/punk look, early 90's...no good ona chick

buzzed my head wigth a number one...this was a cancer tribute thing tho...

but! i was riding my motorcycle regularly at the time
no end to to being called a "dyke"
 
awww, damn. . .when i was an undergrad (many moons ago), i had a buzz-cut of sorts. . .and i had lines cut into what was left on either side of my head. . .wow. . .what a fucking tool :sulk:
 
my best friend has his hair grown out and long, I am so jealous at the moment, I want to do it so bad, but I am trying to be professional(ly unemployed) atm.
 
I've had more atrocities committed to my hair with perm solution than any pair of scissors.

Don't forget about busting out the hair tie(read scrunchy) when we went to the gym in san diego.

Pfft...combat arms...wiminz not a factor. We had two hot medics and I made the observation that guys would behave like monkeys to impress the medics when they showed up with no make up and in unattractive BDU's...I was right. Most guys will try to fuck anything...


My hair history...

Mom cut
Spiked
High and tight
Textured and messy
 
80's perm also had some really bad short hair cuts from age 6-9 once i started developing boobs my hair was never shorter then chin length. The shorest it has been for the past 5 years is shoulder length.

Now it is dark again I am going to grow it longer like no more then a trim tell April or so of 2010. It is about 4 inches past my shoulders now so hopefully I can get a good 10-12 inches in growth by then. My hair and nails both grow super fast I think it is from the high protein diet.

The best part of the photo was my father. He volunteered right after Pearl Harbor for the navy. He was a corpsman that went in with the marines on Tarawa and Iwo Jima...

 
everyone BUT my mother and father were mil of some form or another in my family,
what sucks is, I dont have any mil pics of them either :(
hell I only have a few of my husband during his service ( our terms dont overlap)

his unit was in a pictorial book that was published tho, which is cool..

My grandfather was a Prussian Officer...immigrated to the US after our family lands were confiscated..post WWI.Duty and honor have been passed to me throughout my life. I think my father enlisted in the navy to make a point to my grandfather.
 
its not real popular family history (rightly so) but my great grandfather was a nazi...beyond that everyone else is american soldier...

i buzzed my head this summer. when it grew out and i got it cut recently, the dude parted it too high and it looks horrible. it honestly sucks so much i don't even wanna go out anymore, it's almost long enough to get it cut again thank god
