exactly, the 18 guage rips the shit out of the stopper, and personally i dont think thats very sanitary w/obvious holes in the rubber,or pieces of stopper floating around in the gear. i use 21 to draw and 25 to inject all my gear. if i was drawing from amps (which i will since i'm switching to HG) i will use the 18g
