1300/month is not pennies, esp. on a military trainee's salary. I know people who make 60k a year who don't save 500/month.

Got to love the midwest. Over in Richmond, Indiana a clean 3 bedroom in a crime free area was about $450 a month.

It`s gotta be more than $1800/month for an apt in NYC. I`m in Jersey, The last time I parked in NYC parking lot they charged me $20 for an hour. lol

My old 2 bedroom apt in Jersey is going for about $1800 month rent. That`s right across the river from NYC.

There are people I know of YEARS ago paying $3k+/month for studios in NYC.

wow. You can get a mortgage on a 6-7 bedroom mansion for $3k a month where i grew up.
