what is your definition of a loser

needtogetaas said:
so how someone makes the money is not the problem. As long as he makes a lot of it. Lets say some one that makes as little as 3k a month but as much as 10k or more in different ways is ok he is not a loser. This person gets up and logs on to a comp every day in his own home. Some would say because he is no longer going to a job site he is a loser. You think that is true?

Some one who makes a good amount of money from 3k to 10k depending on different things plus is working to make even more is not a looser right?

I guess seeing this person stay home all day would make some one think this though.

It's not the amount of money made it's the action and effort of making it and being self reliant.

A lot of people think that if you work at home or have a home office that you don't actually work. I think that's bullshit, just because you don't get into the car and go to a different building doesn't mean you're not working.

I don't want to get onto tangent about it but know where you're coming from with this working at home scenario.

No if the person is working towards accomplishing something and is generating income suitable for their lifestyle, or suitable for supporting their family if thats their responsibility, then that person is not a loser. As long as the means are legit and not illegal, then it matters not HOW the money is made.
good shit.

What about other things besides money reasons. What else would make some one a loser.

Abusing drugs and alcohol.... Hurts not only them, but usually everyone around them.... I hate the term loser although I have used it occasionally.

Although I must say, some people that abuse drugs and alcohol are self medicating because they are mentally ill and that wouldn't necessarily make them a loser.

that's the majortiy of the people here

and a loser is someone who posts daily on online forums

Someone Who Gives Up After They Fall Down

Someone Who Thinks Life Will Treat Them Fairly

Someone Who Thinks Just Cause They Failed Once, They'll Always Fail

There are hundreds of different things that could make someone a loser. There is not one definition to fit all circumstances..also it is an opinion question .. so opinions of what makes someone a "loser" would vary
