what is your definition of a loser

to me one type is if you don't live up to your potential. reminds me of the movie Good Will Hunting when Ben Affleck's character tells Matt Damon's character http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fpnFFHxg5a0

o yeah, the phi. eagles and their fans = 10 time losers :lmao:
I have to call bullshit bro. He don't want to give up what he loves, his life and his friends for money. He wants a family and a life with his friends and people he grew up with. There is nothing wrong with that.

I always thought this term referred to someone who couldn't figure out how to win. I'm not sure where I get that from it just makes sense to me, I'm not sure about all the other definitions in here but they seem like something else other than loser to me.

I would say a loser is someone who is never on top, someone who makes bad decisions and comes out on the wrong end of things as a result.

take the guy in the photo with the pink polo that has a collar popped. We don't know anything about him except his bad decision to wear that shirt makes him appear stupid, a loser.

noun: a gambler who loses a bet
▸ noun: a contestant who loses the contest
▸ noun: a person with a record of failing; someone who loses consistently

if that's the way you see it then so be it

What seems to always get under my nerves are people who don't work and are quite capable mentally and physically to do so yet choose not to because they are lazy. They won't work for someone else because they don't want to be told what to do, they won't work for themselves because it's too hard and they're always play the role of the victim, how someone is always out to get them and that's why "they can't". These people usually mooch off of someone else like a parent, sibling or any other easily manipulated person willing to "buy them gifts" or front them money or until they run out.

What is more offensive is the person that give the money yet complains about the moocher and their actions (and lack of) but still can't stop themselves from perpetuating the problem by never cutting the moocher off and never telling them what really bothers them instead of dumping it on a third party person.

That has loser written all over it for me.
