what is your biggest regret in life?

I dunno. If he doesn't want to sacrifice for those things, then so be it. The only condition is that he's got to be willing with whatever happens...

...and stop being so melodramatic about it. :D

The irony is that he's sacrificing for something else.

we call that - step up or shut up

why so cranky tonight?

hmm, you guys have made a good points about sacrifice.

the thing with school is i'm not sure its gonna help me out that greatly for my field. i'm in the IT field and if i worked more towards certifications i could probably land a better position. as of now i actually have a pretty solid job. i was lucky enough to land my job just from knowing someone. i was hired on with hardly any experience and have built a pretty nice resume for myself.

Then stop beating yourself up about it, if you happy and you have already set a solid future for yourself.

going back to school is always an option. i regret not taking school seriously when i was younger. i will always regret that because i cant get that time back. if i worked hard back when i was younger other doors would have opened up. perhaps i could have went away to a good university and dormed. i could have lived a different life. i envy the people that talk about their old college days and still have that school spirit. the degree is always an option but i will regret missing out on what could have been.

No one can get that time back and there's no guarantee that doors would have opened just because of school.

You're funny though - you seem to be saddened at the socializing you lost out on buy not going to college. :chomp:

I don't know, I would think more about what memories and opportunities you could be making for yourself and your future then what memories and opportunities that you no longer have control.
