what is with Western Union??

I went on a website that sells Clomid and went online to pay with western union and it would've been fine if it would've processed but it said I had to call and speak to a customer service Representative to complete my transaction. Lucky I didnt buy some real good gear because the lady asked me what i am purchasing overseas and i had to bullshit her and tell her it was just a workout supplement or whatever. I know Clomid isnt controlled but dam i was a lil paranoid about that. Anybody else have an experience or some tips for using Western Union?

They have you call so they can verify you are who your cc says you are. Also, all you have to say is that you are sending money to a relative.

I was schmoozing on this fat chick at the wu station and she told me about it. You collect points when you send funds and you get discounts on sending money or som kind of calling card minutes. You just gotta call wu and tell them your card no and where you are sending funds.

When I started looking into this subculture I was amazed at what I found. Western Union is just one part that facilitates this culture. They provide a very valuable service. They keep a buffer from you the buyer and you the seller. It's very hard to "Follow the money" with western union. This is why it is used so much. If you want to get your gear don't bitch about WU they are a big part of what makes it possible for you to get your gear. I'm sure that the GOV would very much like to see them go away. But they have been in business for a very long time and what they do when they ask all of these questions is make it possible for them to continue providing this service so you can get your gear. If they didn't make "every effort" to protect their customers from harm the case could be made that they are facilitating a criminal interprize and get shut down. So understand that they are helping you, for a price, and don't bitch about it.
