What is the scariest/most disturbing movie/game you've had the (dis)pleasure of watching/playing?

doom 3 was scarier than any SH game ive ever played

movie... exorxist WAS creepy, but the most creepy is probably the others. i saw it in theaters, and the suspense during some scenes was unbelievable...

I'm gonna have to try Doom 3, I've heard it is awesome in surround sound, keeps you on the edge of your seat.
The Others was good too. That and What Lies Beneath prove a pg-13 rating means nothing.

Resident Evil 2 for PS1 scared the shit out of me a couple times when I was younger.



The new RE4, while still badass, lacks that suspense portion.

Yeah that's what real fear is all about, the tension and suspense. RE games are good and I'm curious about RE4, but all of them fail to truly scare the player for more than a fraction of a second.
