What is the fastest you have ever driven?

I've tried to "pin" all my cars....

120 - Lincoln Versailles (V8)
135 - Merkur XR4ti
145 - (rev limited) BMW 535i
155 - (rev limited) Supra turbo (friend's)
160 - Corvette (friend's)
170 - Lotus Turbo Esprit SE
165 - (rev limiter nixed) MB E55- chickened out...backed off; way too fast for 4000+ lbs four-door.
150 - 911 C4s (I guess with age comes mortality...still haven't had the chance to pin the needle on this one!)

Got up to about 130 in a 88' mustang 5.0 way back when..

Was on the autobahn as a passenger while my cousin was driving & we were cruising at about 130-140 mph,That was in a BMW...

umm, I have driven at 105mph in my nissan truck, and maybe 120 in a friends amc javelin. anything 90+ and I get scared. I am more of a twisty turns kind of guy, instead of top speed.

This thread is too cool. For all of you that are getting vibrations at ANY speed you need to get your tires balanced! There's no excuse for that shit. IF your shit still rattles your suspension is fucked. Get rid of the car before it kills you.

What a WONDERFUL POST!

Let's see, a quick account of my driving history for those not familiar with me:

Age 16: 189mph in a street race on I95 (DADE COUNTY)

Age 18: 152mph on the back roads in Alabama (attending UofA) - rolled car several times when I hit an unexpected spot of gravel

Age 22: 158mph, license suspended for three months

Other speeds to present (Age 32) have averaged between 100-140 (I've slowed down in my old age). Also I've rolled six cars lifetime and flipped a motorcycle going past 100 over railroad tracks.

this thread makes me feel much better about my incredibly small penis.

that said, I've never driven over 7mph. that was crazy fast.
