What is a good excuse for a plastic surgeon for GYNO surgery?

As some of you already know that I got a bit of gyno from a tren cycle, I have been contemplating about having the surgery performed on me. I'm into week 6-7 of gyno reversal treatment, and well, it's not looking so great. On April 13th, I have a consultation with a plastic surgeon, but I don't know what to tell him. I really don't want to let the cat out of the bag about steroids because there's a small chance that my insurance might cover this surgery due to the pain that I'm getting from this gyno. Should I just head on in and tell him that over the past year I've lost a crap load of fat and because I was heavier, I never noticed gyno before - but for some strange reason, the past few months it's been hurting, seen a doc, got blood tests, blah blah blah..or should I just come out and let him know the truth?

HELP!

I personally would not tell him the truth but I would continue to mention the pain you are experiencing.

Yeah you could just play dumb, "I noticed my nipples were sore when taking my shirt off, and they are kinda itchy..."

Thing is though, I said the same thing to a general surgeon and he blew me off, saying I didn't have it. I have seen your pics, mine is bit worse than yours.

Maybe you could possible attribute it to something legal, maybe some kind of prohormone, or...whatever other drug may cause gyno, hairloss drugs? Just throwing some stuff out there

what about going to the doc and asking him if its okay to take melatonin? take it for a while, then complain of increased nipple sensitivity? they would have to cover it then right? If i was indeed told by a doc to go ahead with the melatonin? I would return in say 6 months and complain of nipple sensitivity enlargement, and pain etc. would this work? would less than 6 months work? or should I wait that long? thanks!

Well, I think I have the puffy nip part of gyno. Only thing is, I've had it from being chunky and had since I went through puberty. I would just say that you had it since then and you feel it's getting worse.

Another note, anyone ever heard of reversing it through PCT even if I've never done a cycle? I want to see if I can avoid the surgery or I'm going to try to get a consultation with a plastic surgeon too. Why do our bodys have to be so fucked up, haha.

I guess I'll give you guys the latest update.

I went to my plastic surgeon and told him basically that I have been losing weight and I noticed that my nips were hurting. He asked me how much weight I lost and I replied with 25 pounds. I then proceeded to tell him that I talked to my doctor about it and he told me that it was gyno and that he wanted to try to reverse it with an anti-estrogen therapy program. I told him that I have been taking a-dex and femara for the past 7 weeks and it wasn't doing anything for me, except make me feel miserable. I told him that my doctor said that it was a 50/50 chance and that it might not work. He agreed. He felt the lumps in both chest , but the odd thing was, he didn't notice the lumps right away, but he was checking out the fat layer that I have over my chest. He thought that was the gyno I was complaining about until I said it's only noticeable when they are at their most relaxed state. He told me to flex and then he could tell right away, squeezed and felt the lumps. My right nip actually got worse - it's the size of a grape now while the left one is rather small but it's making the nipple protrude out farther. He said that during the procedure that he would lipo my chest and remove the gyno!!!! woo hoo! Then I asked him about lipoing my love handles. I figured that they weren't big enuff and he told me that he did the procedure on another guy with a similiar build and he looked great afterwards. He told me that that procedure would cost about 2k instead of 3500 since I didn't have that much to lose. He said that some guys can't lose stubborn fat areas - its just a part of a genetic makeup - plus, I have done it before - almost lose it - but it came back within 2 years. So I said, let's do both! He took pics and told me that he would be getting in touch with ins. I talked with ins and my doc a few days later and basically ins is saying that they can't give me a direct answer until the claim has been submitted, but the only problem with that is that my doc submits it AFTER the procedure. But, since I was complaining of pain, it becomes a lifestyle issue - a health problem, so, bc/bs might cover it - 80% chance . They believe (my doc) that they can pursuade the ins to cover it. So basically, if bc/bs covers it, i'll owe my doc 2500$ out of pocket , which i can get :)

I'll keep everyone posted as this progresses.. :)

That's cool. Definitely keep us updated. I'm curious to how much the insurance is going to pay on the gyno surgery. Tell me how much that would have been out of pocket and then how much they actually pick up. Also, if you go through with it, let us know how long it puts you out of commission.
