What if powerlifting were an olympic event?

Do you think the United States would win any medals in lifting if this were the case? I really can't see the U.S taking home any olympic lifting medals since China dominates the lower weight classes and Eastern Europe dominates the upper weight classes.

I think it would be interesting to see powerlifting in the olympics. Would be cool to see what China and Eastern Europe bring to the table in terms of powerlifting.

never knew they did deadlifts, squats and bench press.. I searched youtube and nothing. They're all just videos of olympic lifts.
