Stay-At-Home Mom here but I'm aspiring to do something REALLY Big, REALLY soon!!! I am so excited about it!

edited to add: Yes, I know being a mom is a very important job and I have loved being at home for 6 years now. Just had to say that because I know somone will say "That IS a big job" I KNOW, LOL!

I've toyed around with going back to get a BSN, but it would be just as quick (almost) to become a PA... Male nurses have it made though.
 
I think ALL Officers should have to spend at leat 4 yeasr as enlisted men.

Would really open their eyes to what their real priorities should be..

Some officers are the most self serving elitist fucks that walk the planet.. they have NO fucking idea why they exist..

and some are ok..

but a very few realize that they are there to support their troops.. provide a framework for them to get their jobs done and not simply a career path to their next bar or cluster.


If the military really wanted to do things right.. create a commisioning path for the best and brightest Staff NCOs require them to have an AA (or some college equivalence) and stop relying on dumb fucks with Poly Sci degrees to lead their men.

I used to check in but the "which test is best" and "Can I drink wini" threads just turned me off. It was also the bashing of the "pro-steroids" which are "real" steroids that turned me off from the AAS board. I'm flattered you've actually missed me over there....all vets are good bros with me. I'm half tempted to re-enlist and go through all the rituals again for the Camaraderie...I actually looked forward to the "blood wings" ceremony. :)

She went through our representative to get her commission, I don't really know the details. She supposedly married a green beret at Bragg...I banged her a couple years before she went through the process and I don't know a lot of details.

Any way Yes I have tried many times to get back into the army. I almost got in as a trainer but that got fucked. I know you don't believe but I feel god kept me out for good reason. I got a lot going for me now.

I'm an advocate of veteran's issues, I've written numerous letters to my representatives. There is not a more honorable profession. I was a split option reservist.... I went through BCT at 17 between my Jr. and Sr. year of High School.....13B. I'll brag a little ..I got high PT..and I was an expert marksman thanks to the fact my father purchased a .22 rifle for my Christmas present I requested when I was six. I went to Desert Storm during college and served my time. I also still have the unit coin I was awarded in my training unit, that's a rare honor. I will always love my brothers in arms....

Things get hard and people run. We both have a deep love that gets us threw that type of bullshit. We have gone weeks fighting about shit. In the end love brings us back to normal though.

I faced facts long time ago. I love some one that will never be perfect. God damn it I love her so much I could give shit less though. She can bitch at me for days at A time and all I think about is when its over I can get her back into my arms again.
