how much do you pay? & what would you rate your gym on a 0-10 scale?

i just moved about 2 months ago, and was looking for a new gym to call home. there are 4 within 15 miles of my home. 3 of the the 4 are asking $55 a month, plus a $100 sign up fee, honestly these 3 gyms were by far the worst gyms i have ever been to in my life. small, no variety of machines, dirty, gross people, asshole employees. after using a free week trial membership at each one, and searching for better gyms at the same time, i finally found a perfect gym. i pay $15 a month(with 2nd user) and $40 sign on on fee. and honestly this is the best gym i have ever used in my life, and it is closer than 2 of the other gyms. just wondering what you all pay, and if you are satisfied with your gym.

i would rate my gym a 9.0, i took 1 point off for all the obese ugly women that go that i have to look at :D

last night there was a huge chick on a treadmill eating one of those mini bag of chips.

right now i have like 200lbs of weights that i got from my dads friend and im just making due so i can lift

but my last gym was the best i have lifted at

not all fitness oriented, mostly freeweights and some cardio equipment, open 24 hours during the week

i loved it but right now im not financially set to pay for it

I pay $39 a month.

It's large, plenty of machines and equipment. The staff is cool, and the other members are pretty cool, with the exception of a couple, so it's pretty good. I give mine a 9.5.:)

I pay $25 for 24 hour gayness

BUT, it's good because I travel each week and I can use 24 hour in any city that I'm in.

My gym at home is 126 a month with a 100 dollar fee to join, luckily I use to PT there so it is free.

I would give it a 9.0

Here I lift at the school gym, which blows, you can't even wear tank-tops and the dbs don't go past 100s

I give it a 2.0

I train at Bally's.(I know, I know) Aside from the fat women and punk kids that work there it's pretty good. Has basically all the same machines as my old gym for 1/4 the price. Some good bros there too. Another down side is hours and time it takes to fix a broken machine. Because of the price, I have to give it an 8, But I only pay $10.80 per month.

What? Hell, I'd train at Bally's if I could do it for $10 a month..... how did you get that deal? (not that I've even inquired about bally's before)

I go to two gyms both are Golds Gyms. I would rate the one in Hollywood at about a 6 because there is just to many damn people who go there. The one at the beach is not as big but has enough equipment where I do not have to wait for a thing ever. I like the beach Golds better and would rate that about a 9, some of the equipment gets rusty so your hans get dirty but that is what happens when you have an ocean view. It is the coolest when your doing the tredmill or stairmaster and you can look out to the harbor it is pretty cool.

I train at Bally's as well, and pay $11 a month, but that is after going there for a couple of years. as far as the rating? I would give the one I go to a solid 6.0. it has plenty of free weights, but it can get crowded at times, and I really don't care if there is eye candy or not. that place could use at least one more power rack.
