What can I do?

I recently bought a new car and it is advertised to get 19 mpg city and 26 mpg highway. I have about 830 miles on it right now and am getting around 11-14 mpg...I went to the dealership and they were not very helpful, all they did was just spit off about how those arent accurate as they are done under perfect condidtions...well...I dont give a fuck, I want what I paid for.

I have some other issues with the car but will start them in a seperate thread.

So anyways...what can I do to get what I want out of it? I either want them to reinburse me for part of the gas I have already spent plus fix the problem or give me refund for the car and take it back...

Any ideas?

Those estimates are only under 55mph. If you drive like a maniac which I'm sure you do your car getz zippo gas mileage. My car gets 38mpg. I doubt I get that as I constantly driving over 80 mph and weaving in and out of traffic.

If you want to save money on gas:

1) drive the speed limit
2) keep up with car maintenance, especially tune ups (but your car is new, so you shouldn't need one)
3) use cruise control on the highways.


The dealership is not at fault and if you try to come after them they will laugh in your face.


Yes it sucks! Trust me I know! I drive over 90 miles every day just to get to work. : (

I wouldn't think they would get very good gas mileage by the looks of them, very sharp looking car though. Should have gone with a hybrid

also you wont get peak MPG until the car is actually broken in...and allot of factors are also how you drive...

if it cant be repaired to factory specs within 3 tries...you qualify for the Lemon Law and you must be provided with a new vehicle

Yeah the shine's kind of coming off my pistol from smacking around the bitches so much with it. There's a little bit of dried blood on it too. I'd never shoot anyone though. Don't think the pistol is loaded. I'm not insane. And I only pistol whip the bitches, nobody else.

How are they not at fault? They sold me a car that is not getting the milage they advertised it for. Today I drove a total of about 30 miles and a 1/4 tank is gone...

Also, I drive normally, I dont go crazy with it...
