I strongly disagree with that. My last cycle was 500 mg of test, and 600 mg a tren per week. I put on a little more then 15 pounds. It is now 6 months after PCT, and I have kept 100% of the size I gained, and the majority of the strength. I was on and off SARMS for the majority of the period, but I have been off of everything for more than a month now.. and have still maintained what I gained from the cycle.
as you make progress you will keep the majority of your 'gains' and strength. I am not saying you won't..
i probably should have been less broad with my post .. when i said you aren't gonna keep your gains its easy for someone to not understand what I mean so let me try and explain it in simple terms
you just have to go by your own experiences. i have run tren many times.. so I am stating my experiences with it. you should expect to max out while on tren but when you come off you are gonna have to accept less strength. notice I am referring to STRENGTH gains, not how you look in the mirror. I actually was talking to dylan and led about this earlier today.. i actually look more shredded and tighter when i come off juice then I do on. go and look at my threads where i posted my natty bridge cycle i did. i would say i actually look better, even though my weight/mass is down.. in fact the pic I have up on my profile pic was me OFF STEROIDS for about 3 or 4 months lol so yeah i would say i have kept the majority of my 'gains'.. however it is the STRENGTH gains that take a shit off of hormones
also a month off isn't very long, if you were to stop juicing/SARM's for lets say 6 months straight you would eventually lose quite a bit of strength and size.. I would say I was down a solid 5-7 pounds in my pic i have up from my peak and my bench press was down maybe 15-20% off its peak.
you won't magically keep what you put on with the help of hormones i assure you. there are some great natty supplements out there but I am not gonna sit here and bullshit you and say they have the ability to compare to AAS.
the OP's question is interesting and I really don't think there is a black and white answer to what he is getting at.. which to me is lets say you were to stop juicing entirely and continue working out.. would you go back to where you were before you made your first pin? the only real way to know this is talk to someone who juiced previously who now works for the govt or something where they honestly no longer can juice or risk major trouble. the only way the experiment would work though is if the person were to be consistent with their workouts and eating. that would be almost impossible to know. because a person gets smarter as they build experience and muscle memory is real. all things being equal lets assume that were to happen.. i believe the person would keep SOME of their progress they made when they juiced due to muscle memory. maybe 20% of it. if they were to quit lifting altogether i have no doubt they would lose it all
i've seen tons of guys who have quit on the gym and juicing and they totally lost it all and look worse than they did when they started
