What Animal would You Love to Have in Your BackYard?

What do you mean bad ass? How come the horses were scared of them?

It was a male and female pair that would actually run at the horses from the
creek treeline fenceline bordering the pasture, and then run back into it where the horses could not go..

Chittering and smacking their tails and stuff.. throwing dirt.
So fast that the horses couldn't stomp them or anything.

My wife tells stories of swimming in this creek as a kid and having them come at you in the water smacking their tails/feet at you and then hauling ass.

LOL funny little suckers. Yea they would be fun to watch. They would be alot better than the damn cat we have that won't stop meowing or my dang dogs that keep getting out all the time.

We have a groundhog (which we call a wombat because "wombat" just sounds so cool). Smart little sucker -- he grabbed a small plastic sheet for burrow-lining, then decided he liked it so much he 'borrowed' a big plastic tarp that some neighbors had over their grill.

He got tangled up at first, but he stopped, analyzed the situation, bunched it up so he wouldn't trip, then marched it over to his burrow and sucked it all in. Going, going... gone.

When Mrs. Digger described the scene to me, she was still in shock at how purposeful the little guy was.

Much like squirrels.. I've seen them do some amazing things for food.

Some kind of big cat. Like a tiger or a leopard or something.

I'd go with the leopard for sure, to watch them drag their prey up into a tree to eat it.
