You have to admit these terrorist wouldn't do what they are doing if they indeed had these type of repercussions for doing so now would they? Thats a non-issue.... your idea doesn't piss on the individual, it pisses on their belief, and to say 1.2 billion people are against us is naive... our countries biggest investors are the Saudis who actually own a fractional percentage of this country.

You can't cover 1.2 billion people with a blanket statement curling. Some support it fanatically and would take part if given the chance. Thankfully, they are a minority. The majority do not agree with these types of attacks regardless of motivation. The real problem is that as America continues to surround practically every muslim nation on earth with military power, more muslims are likely to accept the idea that this is a war between the Judeo-Christian powers and Islam. That is not good for anybody.

I have been pleased to see some condemnation of suicide bombings from many muslim nations and entities recently. That was one thing I felt was lacking.
