Anyone else get a letter about WU and sending funds overseas?
I shit my pants when I got a letter that had "criminal division" "court case #xxx" on the front of it. I knew I got busted. After reading I guess they fucked up in currency exchange and if you sent money overseas you are able to sue.
Haven't read the details yet.

iif you read the revised section on the WU website if their is any mistakes in currency exchange WU will ewither make up the loss's or keep the gains.

I got the same thing, nearly shit my pants. I don't think I'll be getting involved in the class action suit. Someone just may ask why I was sending money. As GawdsGift said it had something to do with currency exchange.

My girlfriend got the mail and at dinner she said Western Union sent a letter about a court case and criminal charges. I said about two words the whole night. I don't think I'll take them up on their offer to sue. Funny thing is I almost always use a fake addy and name when sending funds???

I got them too....but if you don't do anything then you are automatically entered into the class action suit....you have to let them know you don't want to be in it!!!

You should try and find a source in the states.You get it quicker and without the overseas shipping bullshit.
