My wife was driving to work last night and it was real foggy out. Another woman in an F150 blew through a stop sign and hit my truck goin 40 to 45. It's kinda scary when you realize just how quick something can happen....and it's completely out of your control.

Nobody was seriously hurt. My wife's nose was cut by glass and she developed some aches and light headedness so we went to the hospital. The face of the passenger side mirror flew into the truck and hit her in the ribbs.

Just thought I would share.....drive safe

I've been lucky not too have been hurt bad in the one major accident I was in. We were all actually okay, I got the worst.
My friends father in highschool was the head of an NHL team. We were in his Dad's SUV on a side street going too fast and the car fish tailed back and forth until it spun out and broke a telephone pole with the side of the car. I had no seat belt on and was sitting in the back on the opposite side of the car when it hit the pole. I went flying through the car snapping a hockey stick that was next to me in the car, in half with my face. I got out of the car and my mouth was bleeding. I felt something in my mouth and whimpered like a little baby that I had chipped my tooth....... I was wrong it was just a splinter in my fucking mouth from the hockey stick that I had flown through head first. lol

Give us the real juice. Did you get the phone number of the lady in the F150?

Seriously, what happened to her? the fuzz take her away or what?

She wasn't drunk or anything. It was foggy with some ice on the road and she didn't even see the sign or the intersection. The troopers gave her a ticket (or tickets..im not sure). She actually was carted off in the meat wagon but was dicharged from the hospital before we got there.

Tomorrow I'm gonna go get a rental car on her insurance companies dime....and go truck shopping.:D

Thank god I don't live in a rural area. Fog, Snow, Deer, no dividers, etc. I like living in the city sometimes. :)

Glad she's safe.

I talked to the guys at the body shop. The insurance company totals at 80% of the trucks value....and that is way more than 7k in damage.

The whole cab is twisted. The driverside door sticks. and when I put it in 4 wheel drive it clunks really lound and then humms so I am guessing the frame is bent.

Even though it was efed up my trusty chevy drove to the body shop. It was a little cold due to the lack of windows though.

The f-150 was hauled off on a flat bed. hahaha

The woman should get a stop sign ticket, a reckless ticket, and a driving a ford ticket.

Wow that is rough. I have no idea who you are but I am glad that she is safe and not seriously injured...trucks and cars can be replaced, love cannot.

Thank you. Both her and I appreciate every ones concern.

It's a bummer but it is just a truck. I already have a new one. Actually its the first brand new vehicle I have ever owned.

Mah new truck
