at the impromptu barbeque i attended across the street at the neighbor's house. I totally didnt know any of them except for 2 guys. Everyone was so nice and so happy to see me venture out of my house for some socialization (LOL). They're like omg she finally left her deck! These people arent exactly my type of folks to befriend, they drink alot smoke weed etc but hell they were sure nice and inviting and hella happy to have me a part of their little gathering. And they laughed at my one liners which is also good for the ego.

I did a similar thing one time, some how got engaged in conversation with this group of people at a bar and at the end of the night they wanted to go to an after party and take me with them.

I actually had one of the funnest times in my life, very bizare since I usually feel reserved around new people.
