We lost a guy at work yesterday

That's too bad. In college a guy I ran track with fell asleep at the wheel driving back to Atlanta for work. He had a leg amputated so his track career was over but he stayed in school and stayed positive.

Thanks everyone for the support and kind words. I am doing fine, really. I learned to accept my own mortality a long time ago. Still it has been on my mind since I drive by the spot every day. The one thing that sticks out in my mind is the strange silence. Things seemed too quiet and still. This has just made me realize what is important to me and to take stock in my own life.
