we just joined a puff gym

shirlene29

I am BATMAN!
Platinum
EF VIP
our old gym was had like one personal trainer, no guest services...scarey locker rooms but miles and miles of free weights

niether one of us has joined a gym in like a year...but we sold most of our home gym equip when we moved

this place is crazy tho...my 3 yr old has a "membership" as well complete with kids programs (wtf)

140 bucks a month for three of us

Healthtrax Fitness & Wellness

full of puffery

flame away

If you're really into family fitness and wellness stuff and can afford the premiums, there's not much to flame on. It's not like you or your family really need access to monolifts and atlas stones, right?

If I had a family, I think that'd be the credited thing to do.

:cow:

good point...I actually really liked that they had a well appointed weight room AND they had kids programs...the three yr old is only eligible for some tumble/play and swim lesson with swimming games stuff...but still
Im kinda psyched they have a lot of free swim hrs...good for preggosaurus

we went with this one because my former physical therapist is also a personal trainer here
pt is within the gym as is a host of sports medicine upstairs from it

I'm sure it has everything you need. I am stuck training at a weaksauce gym here where I live....dumbbells stop at 100lbs. F-ing sucks, but that's what you get living in a small town; a chain came in and forced the small independent that had heavier dumbbells out of business.

I saw they have a special for $20.11 a month... was that too sucky?

thats a sign up special which is a bullshit thing to get you in there to sign up...it basically waves all their sign up fees...which they run a different special pretty much every month ...all variations of the same thing

without the kiddie program it'd be 100 a month for the two of us..
looking over some of the shit its pretty cool if you like classes ...I do like spin, pilates and yoga
and theres a massage therapy dealio thats included
if you were totally new to a gym this place would be ideal...

I know two of their personal trainers...one I don't know but know of her is a former Miss Universe and the two I do know are actually pretty awesome

the weight room is called the "advanced training" room which I find amusing...luckily it doesn't stop at a 100 lbs...thatd really blow

idk, its very puff but at the same time kinda cool

Good for you. I hope you have good results from it. Im sure for $140.00 a month, they probably work out for you, as you sit in a lazy boy sipping a double Latte> lololol Just kidding.. best of luck to you..
