Watching Dr.90210... WTF

Dr. Rey and his wife just had a full human like funeral for there 2lb dog Peanut.. They had a viewing of the carcass in a wooden casket and a room full of flowers. and then they had a graveside service. I have never seen anything like that in my life for an animal. I have heard of cremating animals and keeping their ashes. Not to mention the cost... .. Has anyone ever had a full funeral from a animal funeral home with graveside services in an animal cemetary?

No, and I really LOVE my animals.

When I was a little girl and an animal would die, I would invite my little girl friends to the funeral, bury the animal on the farm and then say a few words from my bible. My mom thought that was so funny. No money was spent on my little funerals though. We would pick little flowers and scatter them on the ground for the pet, and I would put up a little stick cross.
