Was I wrong to call my mothers Pastor to ask if he could visit her at home?

Sorry about your mom. My dad's decline started in 2003. The last year or so was pretty rough on him. Not easy on the rest of us either. He passed in May of 2009.

I look at it as, at least I had all that extra time as opposed to if he had passed suddenly. He was also around for the birth of my son, but just missed his first birthday.

Cherish the time you have with her.

I'm truly sorry about your father! I lost my father in 01 2 months prior to my daughters birth , and it was extremely difficult . I am doing everything I can for her at this moment! Thank you , CEO

thats great! I don't know how close nit her church is but maybe some of the regulars there would also like to visit her and you mother might appreciate that(since she's been a member for so long). if the paster didn't know, maybe others dont as well. if you know her friends at the church, maybe let them know, or just have the paster make an announcement. maybe some of the members wanna tag along with him when he comes visits your mother again. Anyways, it was a good thing you did for your mother sweetie. best wishes for you both.

You did the right thing. I was a Youth Pastor for 6 years. Life can be really busy, and you don't always know things that are going on. I would really appreciate a phone call like that. There was nothing worse then when someone was sick and mad at me that I never called, but I never knew anything was going on. If a pastor has a issue with something like this, he is in the wrong profession.
