Want to try a cycle - Confused

You guys grill people too much about shit. Who cares what his split looks like? Has nothing to do with his readiness to do steroids.

Yeah, I think sometimes the demand for stats can be excessive. I do not agree on test for a first time cycle though. Beginners can get away with 2-3 cycles (that's a year or two) without suppression if they avoid test. When receptors are fresh you'll respond to anything. Hell, just 10 mgs of dbol will work.

As for the desire to gain 20 pounds of muscle -- forget it -- ain't gonna happen. You can gain 4 pounds of muscle and 16 pounds of water if you like. Or, you can gain 4 pounds of muscle. Ever see 4 pounds of meat? It's quite a bit. You'll have to train your ass off to get even that.

The expectations from steroids sometimes is a little ridiculous.

THANK YOU NELSON. I love you for this post right here. A month after my Test E/Beast Cycle I was up about 7 lbs with no increase in body fat, rather a slight decrease. I see way to many post where users keep saying they gained 10-20 pounds of solid muscle from their cycle. If this were only true we'd all be pros after 2 years and 3-5 cycles.

What would you suggest then something like primo?

I know a back in the day before I knew a damn thing about AAS I took winny alone for 6 weeks at 50mg a day, that was enough to shut me down. Add in the fact I took clomid/nolva togeather for PCT and you talk about having NO libido what so ever. :( lol, it amazes me how much I've learned since then.

See, Now info like this is great. Because I don't know if 20 lbs is a ridiculous goal, its just a number that seems reasonable but in fact may not be (or mostly water). Thanks for the post
 
Lol.. getting his split is valuable information. A lot of times you get people that aren't peaking their genetic potential because they have a shitty workout regime and a shitty diet. Instead of switching shit up and getting their diet straight, they get frustrated and immediately think.. "I need steroids". Prime example, where the hell are the deads in that split? You all can say fuck deads all you want, but theres plenty of people that have been pushing steel for many years that swear that's one of the most important movements to pack on size and should be in any workout.

eta; and just as Nelson said.. if you wanna pack on 20lbs of solid beef from one cycle(esp for your first one), it's not gonna happen.

I'm thinking about trying a cycle for the first time. A little background to start.

Age: 32 Years Old
Male
Currently 226Lbs
6 ft 3 inches tall
Body Fat is currently at 10%

For a long time I was a fat bastard. Then 4 years ago when I hit the scales at 355lbs I figured that was enough. 9 Months later I was down to 197 lbs and felt great. I decided to start weight training because I had transformed into a scrawny wimp (with quite a bit of loose skin on the mis section).

Well the past 2.5 years of working out hard hasn't gotten me very far. So I am thinking of a cycle to help me make some gains.

Currently eating 1775 Cals of protein and 980 Cals of Carbs per day (under 20% fat). (This is probably a different way of calculating than most here would use)

I have been reading as much as possible but all that has done is confuse me.

I was hoping someone would help me with a starter cycle and a pct that might work best for my situation.

Your help is appreciated. Thank you in advance.




If you have done extensive research like you say you have ,then you should know i'm no stranger to this forum. Ryan made a good suggestion Test,Dbol or if you don't want to get fancy dealing withe the bloat than a test Enanthate or cypionate will suffice just fine. then next important thing is to read this

Hey, how do you think I learned about Nolvadex? When it shruck my Johnson into a shitake mushroom! lol! it's a fucking estrogen! So is Clomid! They were used to compete against excess estrogen back when guys were scared of getting gyno. I think we've ALL learned a lot since the 90's but too many people are still stuck implimenting the same out dated tactics.
 
i would do a 10 weeks test e cycle @500 mg wkly ( split) , throw an oral like dbol for the 1st 4 wks ,if you eat good , clean and train hard you'll should be able to gain 15lbs, not everything will be solid muscle but you will notice the results , that was my 1st cycle at your age !!!

first two cycles are good for mass, primobolan is a good mass builder and the unique thing is that it does not aromatise meaning that you dont need to worrie about gyno or water retension. Or that you need to use nolva or something while cycleing and thinking about estrogene rebound

last cycle is a very good cycle, that surely will give you alot of mass and strength! test will keep your sex drive running and fully functionel.
might need a estrogene blocker while running the last cycle



As far as whats a good beginner cycle? well, imo there is nothing called a beginner cycle.. your either pinning and cycleing or not, imo last cycle ure just pinning more wich can be alittle downer when its your first time... but why try gaining the mass you want on one cycle instead of needing to run more cycles to gain the weight u really want
