Vitamins/Supplements to build immune system

What vitamins/supplements & doses would you recommend to strenghten/maintain one's immune system?

Mods, please leave this here for the time being, at least till I get a few good replies... Thanks. :)
 
I'd go with a multivitamin
vitamin C
echinacea (but only if you feel like you're getting sick - running it too long will lower immunity)

multi-mineral

and diet exercise.
 
Any of the following vitamins would be good....

A- in the form of beta-carotene (15mg/day)
B complex- any that emphasize B1 (thiamin), B2 (riboflavin), B6, B12, etc...
C complex

For minerals look into Germanium, it allegedly increases your body's supply of available oxygen

In addition to a good multi vit (which will have all the essential vits,mins,aminos) you can also supplement your daily intake with r-ala, ginger (very very cheap) and golden seal.
