I thought instead of bickering...

we could take a look at the lives that were ended short by a very disturbed young man.

And perhaps in looking at these people we would notice that they were men and women, of many different ages, ethnicity's and colors we might also remember that at birth and in death we are all equal.

We should remember just how valuable each day is, when we can wake up, live our lives and come home everyday safely and share what time we have here with those that we love and those that love us back.

Its very humbling seeing their photos all lined up in on one page like that. Dont know what to say.

I started to tear up pretty good when they showed pictures of the victims on CNN to the Jeff Buckley song Hallelujah.

nah, i ifor one don't want to see their pics. i don't look at pics of people who die from drunk drivers, so why would i want to dwell on them? isn't life depressing enough? i'll pass.

me feeling sad isnt going to solve anything. ive already had tragedies in my life - so i know all about suffering. but for others - feel free.

I guess everyone deals with things differently.

I guess what I wanted to say is - value life, your life...

I have two friends at VA Tech who are seniors this year. They both are communications majors and were told classes may still be closed next week too.

Life's a fragile thing Harry. One minute you're chowing down on a burger, the next you're dead meat.

My thoughts keep turning to their poor parents. Imagine sending your child away from home for the first time to college and then having a maniac kill them. Very sad.

And the holocaust survivor who gave his life to save his students.

Words cannot express the sadness one person created.

I guess there are always going to be a few lunatics out to hurt as many people as possible. You just have to live your life hoping that you don't cross their path.
