VERY strange problem

Last night I took my socks off, and I had an indentation in my ankle where the top of them were. I don't just mean a small indentation, I mean a huge ring around where the top of the sock was, and below that area is was swollen and extremely puffy. If I look at my legs in the mirrors they look deformed from it. Any idea what the fuck this is?!

Not sure but It happens to me too. I play guitar and when sitting I'll rest it on my right theigh. That indentation goes deep and stays for several hours. May be fluid retention. My BF is pretty low but I know I'm holding some water.
