VERY FIRST CYCLE... What Should It Be?

Hey guys...

So I am considering running my very first cycle. I have friends who have done numerous cycles, seem somewhat intelligent on the subject, and I have been doing quite a bit of research myself lately.

Instead of telling you guys what type of a cycle I am thinking about running though, I thought I would get everyone else's opinion.

GOALS:
I am not really looking to get HUGE. I would just like to add some solid hard muscle, increase vascularity, cut fat, and make everything really pop (...of course with as little side effects as possible. My hairline is already going to hell and have been strongly considering running Propecia with whatever cycle I decide on).

STATS:
- 30 Years Old
- 5'7 1/2"
- 160lbs
- Approx. 15% Body Fat
- Been working out for 3-4 years, but have really stepped it up and have been hitting the gym 4-5 days a week over the past 1 year+
- Current Pic at:

GIVEN MY STATS AND GOALS, what should be my IDEAL FIRST CYCLE? What should I run? How much of it should I run and for how long? What are your recommendations for PCT? Supplements?

Any advice is GREATLY appreciated! Thanks in advance!

^^^ yeah i agree.

And ur base doesnt look to solid to be honest not bashing you. I think you could get to 180-190lbs naturally. Thats my opinion anyway.

you have a decent starting point for a 30 year old. to be quite honest I would like to see what exactly you are doing 4-5X per week at the gym for the past year.

I don't see much muscle on your frame., although you have a very good body for a 30 year old American!! I would definately try to improve your workout strategy first and put on some muscle natty if you really want to take advantage of that first cycle.

try this strategy

workout A: pushing exercises.. bench, military, tricep work. anything where you are pushing. do 15 sets
workout B: pulling exercises.. rows, pull downs, curls, anything where you are pulling 12 sets
workout C: legs.. squats, deads, quad work, calf work.. anything where you are working ur legs 15 sets

alternate those workouts. like do workout A on monday, workout B on wednesday, workout C on friday.. rinse, repeat. go EOD. mix and match.. like don't do the same workout over and over. BUT always start off with the big muscle groups.. like on leg day start out with squat or deads, or on pushing day start out with the bench press. do different machines, keep things fun. it will really pay off to have this type of workout in place before you go on a cycle..

get good rest, and keep eating well.

IMO if you have studied and more or less know about the chemicals I would much rather see what your ideas are then having the guyz post up something for you. That would add a lot of legitimacy to your post bro.
Also you should include a PCT of course.
So I challenge you to put up a cycle with pct, your workout in detail and your diet in detail. Then you prolly gonna get a lot of bros opinions on what you put up.
Good luck bro.......30 really? You just dont look 30 in that pic, maybe its the pose.....IDK...

Post your training routine, diet and potential cycle plans. Post that and you will be helped greatly. And 160 at 5 7 is pretty decent starting size, to get to 180-90 at that height is big.

Thanks for the feedback guys.

To tell you a little more about myself, my routine, my diet, and what I am thinking here ya go...

Typical Work-out Routine:
Mon - Chest & Tri's
Tue - Shoulder's & Cardio
Thu - Back & Bi
Fri - Legs

** I generally do abs every day I am at the gym.

I typically work-out by myself and spend about 45min - 1hr at the gym. I do try to mix up exercises as much as possible to keep it interesting and to keep my body guessing. Occasionally, I throw in a 3.3 mile run for a 5th day.

Diet:
Over the past 6 months especially, I have been pretty much adhering to a 1900 calorie high-protein diet (my goal is typically 160g/day). My diet basically consists a lot of baked chicken, salads, some cheese, yogurt, and protein shakes w/ skim milk.

I have actually cut about 20-25 lbs. just over the past year (max was 193 when I started working out again approx. 3-4 years ago), seem to be holding pretty steady currently around 160, but am continuing to build muscle and burn fat.

CYCLE:
For about the past 6 months, I had been considering more and more the notion of doing a cycle of just Anavar (40-50mg/day for 6-12 weeks?) to basically add another 2/10ths or so in continuing to build muscle and cut fat while at the same time stepping up my workout routine and diet even further to take full advantage. I liked the idea of Anavar from everything I have read because it seems to kind of match what I am looking for - Not huge gains by any means, but a little more leaner harder muscle, more fat burning, and a little vascularity without the worry of many side effects. The main issue I have with that at the moment is the price and apparent difficulty of actually procuring and knowing I am getting genuine Var.

The more I research though and hear my friends experiences and recommendations, the more I think I might want to go a little bigger and might be interested in doing a light-moderate cycle of Test-E... possibly stacked with Winny. For example...

Wk 1 - Test-e (250mg/wk.)
Wk 2-8 - Test-e (400mg/wk.)
Wk 9 - Test-e (250mg/wk) + Winny (25mg/day)
Wk 10-12 - Winny (25mg/day?)

I hear that Winny is actually good to use towards to end of a cycle and will help solidify the gains, balance out some of the "bloat" and other effects from the Test.

As for PST, I would really value input or advice. I am still trying to learn and determine exactly what type of PST meds would be needed and at what dosages. If I do this, I want to make sure to do it right and have everything I need + a well researched and solid plan up front... hence the reason why I thought I would solicit your advice.

With ALL of this said though...

I probably could step up the intensity and refine my work-outs more, eat even cleaner on a more consistent basis to get that extra 1-2 10th's. Even doing what I am doing right now, I probably would continue to build muscle and cut fat. I know I will probably sound like A COMPLETE retard to some of you guys and some of you are probably going to tell me to go drown in a bucket of AIDS, but either way... I still value your input and your thoughts on what I should do. I think I may be starting to enter a level however to where I would at least like to start doing some serious research into doing a cycle - even if that is not for another 6 months or a year down the road.

I did recently have a (lets say "slightly more careless") friend that just started working out again about 6 months ago, is around 20-25% body fat, and has a far less rigorous work-out routine and diet, just complete a 9-week cycle of JUST Test-E (No PCT), and basically shot right past me in terms of gains and at least appears to have gotten results in a matter of weeks that normally probably would have taken a couple years... of course I generally consider myself to be more careful and would like to know EXACTLY what I am doing IF/WHEN I decide to take the plunge.

Once again... Thanks for all of the input, info, and advice!

As for the "strongly considering Propecia"... stop considering it while your hair keeps falling out.. just start taking it. I haven't done a cycle of test yet, but I've been using Finasteride (generic propecia) for the last year with a normal diet and workout routine and I've noticed a definite difference in the thickness of my hair. Stop considering it ;)

Get your doctor to write a scrip for Finasteride in 5mg dose (it's used like this to treat prostate cancer, so in my case my medical plan will cover the cost). a bottle of 5mg will cost about $80 without a plan (in Canada anyhow), and if you buy a pill cutter ($5) you can split them into 1mg doses (exact same dose as propecia) and you'll have 1 year's worth of propecia for $80. It's a no-brainer for someone who cares about their hair. In my case because of my medical plan coverage it costs me $15 a year.
