A time to think about the past, thats tomorrrow....

I'm talkin about tonight, what are you all doing. No classes and no work (for some) so whats your plans?

since im not working tonight I am goin to get back from my night class and party up. It's been a while since I have partied so ill try and take it slow... got my bottle of Soco black (100 proof) sitting right over there .
Have fun :coffee:

having thursday off is useless. We're working thursday and celebrating veterans day on Friday.

Staying at home watching soap operas and sleeping in on a thursday is not an ideal tribute to the freedoms veterans have given us. We're getting a long weekend!

Rememberance day in Canada tommorow.

Im waking up early, calling my great uncle and thanking him for flying planes over germany and risking his life for us.

then off to school I go as it isnt cancelled, althought I did want to goto the ceremony at the cenotaph at 11,but that wont happen as I cant miss anymore class

For the Canadian contingent:

Flander's Field

In Flanders Fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.
We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved, and were loved, and now we lie
In Flanders fields.

Take up our quarrel with the foe;
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch, be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.

John McCrae 1872 - 1918

They won't even give us Vets the day off tomorrow and all we are doing is cleaning, the shop.

Who's your employer? That guy voted for Kerry for sure and now is taking revenge with you.

Remember ..... Veterans day is not a day to think about the stupidity of war, but to remember those that lost there lives ( not to mention their minds ) in battle.
