do any of you have a velvet elvis?
there are certain things that I can't resist buying - really cheesy religious artifacts, and velvet elvis paintings.
the problem is, in this part of the country, they are surprisingly hard to find.
I did an ebay search and the velvet elvises there are pitiful.
my friend has a perfect one that he got for $1 at a yard sale. he won't sell that bastard neither.
and another friend has an amazing last supper painting that is almost as good as dogs playing poker. I'm envious.
I'm new to collecting this stuff, so the only thing I have right now is a porcelin cross with some flowers painted on it. cheesy, but not as ugly as I'd like to get.
ideally some poorly carved crucifixes would be great.
anyone have this stuff they want to sell?
