Went hiking this weekend and these are just a few of the pics we got. Virginia has some beautiful mountains. I guarantee my eyes are closed in every dang photo.

Nice pics. Where in VA did you go?

I've been in mountains of West VA (I will never forget the view and drive) last year for Easter. I'm hoping to get to Shenandoah this summer.

That is sharptop mountain...in Bedford County...Mile post 86 on Blue ridge pkwy.

Thanks! If you want a pretty good workout..go hike that mountain...its about 1.5 miles and is all up hill..some VERY steep...theres an old weather station up top and obviously the view is worth the effort. SHarptop is the 2nd highest peak in VA. only 50 ft less than the highest

absolutley....we were all starving after we hiked down...and before we ate lunch we went to one of virginia's wineries and did a tasting and tour...man, a little wine after that workout makes for some good recovery with the mrs.

Hokie here...been to Skyline Drive, Blue Ridge as well....some great scenery out in SW Va...

My family has a cabin directly across from Buzzards Rock and the Blue Ridge National Park.
