the diet seems to be going well for me... bodyfat is either holding steady or slightly lowered, but i gained a few pounds in the last week...

week 2 of the 5x5 is almost in the books... can't wait for some real poundages to start coming up... i feel i'm ready to explode soon...

any critique is welcome...
 
i'm a bit dissapointed in my triceps at the moment...

this is why my arms do not register on that 17"+ scale... you can really see the weakness in the last pic... no worries though, as i'm sure the 5x5 will be packing the meat on as i progress...
 
Strenghts are deff bis,shoulders, traps and lower chest


You look harder in your arms in these pics diet is deff working

I have problems on my tris also, VERY stubborn to grow, what helped me was heavy and hard while concentrating on close grip and skull crushers but boy do i have to kill them

Really kill your upper chest and lats, will deff make u look alot wider and thicker

try and take shots once a week...

helps me see any gains better than looking in the mirror alone...

oh and upper chest: Dude you have mass up there I can see it. Us pale whitey's it's hard to tell.... slab some posing tan oil on, lol.

Are wheels a priority... or being worked? j/w.
 
i'm hitting legs 3x a week...

so i'd say they are a priority...

Yeah, your lats looked like they need some work in the first few shots. That shot is better. Do some decline bench and dips to help the chest ( I believed what everyone said about decline being worthless and they were wrong for me at least)

I agree - you've got a really nice base for your height and I would probably guarantee a really nice symmetry when you lean out all the way and just really nice potential going everywhere. Just the time to bring it all out & keep the diet tight.

One question is about doing legs 3x/week?

*edited* - just looked at your 5x5 post. Normally I'd say why are you doing legs 3x/week. That just looks like overtraining to me - but your program is different. Good luck w/ that - great strength building !


And yes please - wheels pix!!!!!!!!!!!!!

not at all DZLS. you look GREAT! my point is that most of us on EF dont want to measure ourselves by the other 95% of the population.

i'm getting antsy to get into the meat of this 5x5... only 2 weeks left of until i get into some possible new PR's...
 
DZ - you really do have as thick a base is it looked like -- i mean just nice all the way around. Esp for your height & weight. I'd probably say your chest could come up some, lean out a little more around the waist - but you've just really got a nice solid base. Building or cutting- don't really see any lagging parts - just get the chest to have the same thickness as the rest. If you lean out just a bit you'll really be friggen hawt (not that ya ain't now ...) - just giving my opinion regarding your goals which I assume are to lean out &build muscle.

at the moment i'm just trying to add about 10-15 pounds over the next 10 weeks of my 5x5 program...

after that i will do a 10 week cutter and change up my routine to a more traditional training regime...

after that i plan to regauge all my 5RM's and start a new 12 week 5x5... which will take me through October into November

my goal for the end of July is to be about 215-218 and below 10% BF... i should hold that weight pretty well...

Nice legs! That is the first time I really saw your legs clearly in your pics. Your quads and glutes look like they may need a little more catching up to match the great quads, but it is hard to tell in that picture because your shorts have some seams in the back that sort of are acting like an optical illusion for me...lol. Anyway, you are already hawt and looking better everyday. Your cat IS looking at you like WTF are you doing? Very cute cat.
 
LOL...I hear ya. I have the same thing going on. J-Lo has nothing on my onion...lol.
