UFC 75: CHAMPION VS. CHAMPION ON SPIKE TV Spike TV will telecast “UFC 75: Champion vs. Champion,” its most star-studded fight card ever, including the network’s first-ever UFC® title fight, a unification bout between UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Quinton “Rampage” Jackson and PRIDE’s 205-pound Champion Dan “Hollywood” Henderson, on Saturday, September 8 at 9:00 PM ET/PT (same day tape) from The O2 Arena in London, England. UFC 75 also features a major heavyweight battle with international superstar Mirko “Cro Cop” when he takes on France’s Cheick Kongo. As a special feature, England’s own and “The Ultimate Fighter® 3” Light Heavyweight Champion Michael “The Count” Bisping takes on fellow “The Ultimate Fighter 3” cast member Matt “The Hammer” Hamill.

In and looking forward to it.

I won't comment on RedSamurai and the free thing 'cuz I like him... not in a giegh way. :rainbow:

Jackson and Henderson will be a great fight. Who wins... Henderson? or does Jackson overwhelm and out-brawl him?

Thay should all be good fights. There's a few other guys that I hope will start showing up in the UFC, like Mark Coleman, and Fedor Emelianenko. I believe Fedor is fighting with M1 right now, but from what I've read, him and his manager are trying to negotiate a deal with Dana White(ufc president). From the sounds of it though Dana is being his normal fucking dickhead self with the whole thing. Fedor has always been very true to his home country and the people there. He is trying to have it so that (not all, but a few) of his fights are filmed there, but Dana White is basically saying no and giving him a contract that says "you will fight when and where I say" and if you don't like it, too bad. Fedor is the most dominant fighter in the history of MMA, the guy deserves a little more respect then that. I have alot of respect for him as a fighter and a person because of the way he carries himself. He does'nt jump around like a monkey when he wins or ko guys.

Thats cool. These fights coming up on the 25th should be good too. I think Randy might have some trouble with Gonzaga, in fact I have strong feelings that Gonzaga might very well beat him.

Main Event:
UFC Heavyweight Champion Randy Couture (15-8) vs. Gabriel Gonzaga (8-1)

Main card (televised):
155 lbs.: Roger Huerta (18-1-1) vs. Alberto Crane (8-0)
170 lbs.: Georges St. Pierre (13-2) vs. Josh Koscheck (9-1)
155 lbs.: Joe Stevenson (27-7) vs. Kurt Pellegrino (10-2)
185 lbs.: Kendall Grove (8-3) vs. Patrick Cote (10-4)

Under card (may not be broadcast):
185 lbs.: Thales Leites (11-1) vs. Ryan Jensen (11-1)
205 lbs.: Renato “Babalu” Sobral (27-7) vs. David Heath (7-1)
Hvywt.: Frank Mir (9-3) vs. Antoni Hardonk (5-2)
155 lbs.: Marcus Aurelio (14-4) vs. Clay Guida (21-8)

Frank Mir has been a tub of shit in his last few fights.
GSP has always been another guy I have alot of respect for.

for the record, all of you should have questioned my reading skillz for not realizing the shit was free.....anyway, that sucks about Fedor.......but I can understand Dana's position. The UFC is based in the states......yeah they do overseas shit too, and will continue to do so.........but that all has to be preplanned at least a year in advance if not more. But to have a fighter that you "have" to go to his homecountry and basically set up a payperview around.............has pain in the ass written all over it. Because basically, if something happens to Fedor and he can't fight.........or possibly loses in a previous pay per view............than the trip to Russia is kind of a waste. I'm sure Dana doesn't have a problem going over there for a pay perview or two.............but then to "have" to have it coincide with Fedor's fight schedule??? ah well.

ditto... my wife often tells me to get off the computer when the fights come on. She hangs at the dojo and gets turned on when I spar full contact. Sensei and I did bare knuckle kumatai (sp?) today for 3 rounds... brutal - no head shots... body only but full force. :)
