UFC tonight... Diego wins.

I felt Diego was the real deal.....Josh is a great fighter as well

What I thought was funnier was when the referee interceded, stood both fighters up, BUT did NOT stand between them. Diego turned his back and Josh popped up with a hook to the head. Diego looks around with a whiney face "he hit me!! Waahhh!". The guys outside the ring were screaming foul.

Dana White narrated that it was a legal hit since the ref was not between them and Nevada gaming rules say to always protect yourself in the ring. Would have been funnier than hell if Josh had knocked him out with that one.

Yeah. What was sad was that Josh DIDN'T knock him out with that combo. He landed two shots a jab and then a weak ass jab.

What you all witnessed was two skilled grapplers going at it.

They both changed their game plans to counter the other fighter's skills.

It's obviously clear that Josh will have to learn how to use his hands if he wants to succeed in MMA fighting.

He's long and lean and had a nice reach advantage over Diego, but didn't let his hand go. Diego was pressing for most of the fight, but wanted to avoid Josh's take downs.

Josh did take Diego down at will and like most wrestlers, Josh didn't mind working from the guard. It's difficult to catch a good wrestler in a submission hold, which Diego almost did at the end of round one with the guillotine choke.

If you watch the match closely you can see really how good of a wrestler Josh is when they hit the mat. The way he is posting off of Diego's ankle, leg, and working his way up to Diego's head. These little techniques make it very hard for the bottom man to work away from the wrestler.

Overall, I felt it was one of the best fights yet.

Can't wait to see the light heavyweights go at it!!

yes josh lost, no this wont be the last time u hear his name is UFC -- i think he will continue his training and learn the finishing moves while on the ground, he doesnt seem to have a problem getting people there, he just needs to finish -- and another thing that i noticed is he doesnt use his left leg or his knees at all, but w/ more training i think josh will be just fine and will be back around

josh had diego's back twice along with the many chances for a heel hook,he just had no business being there,he isnt a good fighter at all

I thought it was a pretty good fight. However, I must say that while Josh is a great wrestler he is a horrible fighter. He can't strike and he can't submit.
