actually frye didn't tap out, the ref stopped the fight for fear of frye getting his arm ripped off.

if you want to catch a great don frye fight, watch the Pride 21 or 20 when he fought a japanese professional wrestler. He beat that guy so bad the ref had to stop the fight. The dudes face looked like bloody hamburger meat.

i have almost all of the pride fights now... i'll go back and look... also been collecting king of the cage and eveytime i see a strange one up on the newsgroups i download it... i got this one from indiana that was all females... called shit i don't remember... but these chicks were skilled maybe moreso than guys like tank.

The Frye/Yoshida fight is suspected of being a work. I would be surprised to hear that Frye let Yoshida actually damage his arm (in the pictures, it looked sick) just for a work, but stranger things have happened.

The all womens show was Hook and Shoot Revolution. Hook and Shoot puts on some really quality cards. Definitely worth watching.

Orvilasky (sp?) is the guy that beat Freeman. Orvilasky got crushed in his fight prior to that against Pedro Rizzo.

Just goes to prove that on any given day....

I'm not sure if any of you guys had the chance, but HBO put out a good special on MMA fighter Mark Kerr, and they had some good interviews with Baas Rutten and MArk Coleman. Very good program.

yeah I saw that. he had a shit load of syringes lying all over the place. I was kinda hoping some of them would be for juice, because I want desperately to beleive that he's that big because of the sauce.

speaking of Mark kerr, he is actually from the city I live in now, used to train at the powerhouse I go to. Lots of local friends here, just borrowed an all mark-kerr tape from one of his buds. most impressive!

well if you watched closesly he was talking about taking stuff to get stronger... he skirted the AS issue. Prolly because he could get scripts for eveything else... did you hear him on the phone taliing to that doctor about getting him some painkillers... that was classic
