Trying to cut but I'm starving.....

Hey guys, I know this is more of a diet thread but it revolves around my bulker that I finished about month so......

My PCT went very well.....100% recovery.

Right now I am trying to drop the BF - I have cut calories but ..... hell let's make a long story short....

I AM F'IN STARVING AND CAN'T STOP THINKING ABOUT FOOD........even at just under 3000 cals a day.

:taco: :RADAR :RADAR :RADAR :cow: :RADAR  :jenscat :coffee:

What will give me a full feeling to take my mind off food??

sorry bro--feeling like a dick today

but sprouted grain bread is great for a full feeling and high in all that is good--and not starchy

This works for me: If you have a digital watch with a timer set it for 10-15 minutes. Whenever you get those insane urges to splurge hit the timer and challenge yourself to not act on the urges until the time is up. 95% of the time the urge will have passed and you are good to go.

Hope that helps!

Did you justs cut cals and keep the ratios the same?

When I first started cutting 2 weeks ago I felt the same way. I started craving shit that I don't even normally eat like cake or whatever my roommates had in the fridge. I switched over to carb cycling with high carb days wed and sat. I only eat 2500 cals on my low carb days but I'm eating so much friggin meat and veggies that I'm always full. On my high carb days I just add another 600 cals of carbs from brown rice and fruit. And even though its low cal, I'm eating 320g of protein, mostly from meat. I've only been doing it for 4 days and I've already dropped 2 lbs, some water, some fat. I look leaner though. I can't wait to see how I look in 2 more weeks.

That sounds like a good idea.

Hey Ed...that's MY job..

I can't cut to save my ass either. If I do any more cardio, I might start impaling people. My six pack looks more like a keg. Maybe I need to stop drinking water and dehydrate...to get that "Ziegfried and Roy" look.

ITS TOUGH im just tryin to "clean up" and the fuggin drive thru is callin my name, think of it as those last few reps that the voice inside u is sayin fuk it quit, but u dont give in

I guess I should add in the other bit of info to ths - just thought of it - maybe it's making the diff.

I'm using e.c.a and T4 right now so maybe the boosted metabolism has me screaming for more cal's. First time using T4 - I don't get that response from e.c.a - it decreases my apetite.

Could it be the T4?

Eddy - you'll like this, always hated the damn things before but now I can't stop thinking about jelly doughnuts. The damn grocery store I go to has them sitting there behind the glass like little evil red sweet cakes that make me literally drool when I see them.

Fuck!! They're so much better than oatmeal and chicken.

Are you talking about breads like Ezekiel bread?

Are you supposed to eat jelly dougnuts? lol Ive been cutting since freshman year of high school and I used to stare at those damn doughnuts at the grocery.

join the club. I do lots of cardio and have a strict diet and still have some excess in my lower abdomen. Sometimes I think why do I bother. I might as well just eat whatever the fuck I want. It doesn't seem to make much of a difference. I gota get on clen, T3 etc. Or atleast run some EQ or some winny. Im 230, low BF but I still don't have that hard look. It sucks!

Bro not to get off subject but what he hell happened to all your Karma?

The first few days of a new diet are always tough.

I was freaking starving for about three days when I started my diet.

It does get easier.

Fibrous food like celery, lettuce, brocolli, asparagus, radishes, spinach and loads of water.

I hate life when dieting. Especially since I'm a diabetic and I need to inject insulin. It makes any sort of progress so damn hard. Every time I inject insulin my body is saying to me, "haha, so much for watching what you eat, it's no matter, I'm gonna turn food right into fat to spite you."

There is a possibility Rudy. You could snack on nuts like almonds, pecans, or walnuts to help a bit. It isn't the same thing as a donut, but not too bad for keeping down some cravings.

Ephedrine suppresses appetite. You could also try PGX granules. They expand to a huge size to fill you up.

Incorporate more fat into your diet the unsaturated variety. Nuts, Avocado, EVOO, All Natt. PB, Even a little bit of Saturated fat is good but take it in from animal scources. Egg yolks red meat, salmon etc. But getting started on a diet is always a shock to your body after months of being in a calorie surplus. Add some of the fat scources I said above or add more if you are already doing so. The appetite will get better as time goes on, especially if you do something like carb cycling.

Yup I'm proof of that. I cut my cals to 2400 but kept carbs at 40% protein at 40% and fat low at 20%. I was dying of hunger, craving foots etc. I switched to carb cycling with 2400 cals on my low days and 3100 cals on my high days. On my low days its a 25/50/25 carb/protein/fat split and on my high days its a 20/40/40. Now I'm full all day. It's weird cause I almost seem hungrier a little on my high carb days. Somehow, at least for me, it seems like if you eat a lot of carbs you crave them more. When I eat protein all day I'm always full. But either way I don't crave food anymore and I'm growing every workout as well as leaning out.

Isn't sugar free jello calorie less or has like 1-2 cals or something? Might wanna try that.

For sure, EC a few times a day will dull those urges.

I've also heard of bodybuilders using nicotine gum (could smoke cigs but thats not exactly as healthy) to control appetite.

i've always thought that to diet properly you shouldn't be hungry like this. you should always be full after you eat. so by that line of reasoning taking anything to suppress appetite would be counter-beneficial, no? im not saying its not necessarily a good idea, i just think that the diet should be tweaked before doing something like this.

i could be wrong, feel free to disagree.

Fiberous foods and lots of water. Also stick w/ more whole foods instead of shakes, that always keeps me fuller.
